Magazine and Journal Sources

Scholarly journals provide scholarly research or topics related to specific professions. They are generally published through a peer-reviewed or juried process, which means that one or more scholars in the field have read and approved the article for publication.

Articles published in magazines may go through an editorial process, but it is not generally believed to be as rigorous as the peer review process. They can be good sources for popular, mainstream opinion.
