Study Rooms: Standard room

Standard group study room

Group study spaces at each of the libraries vary in size and seating capacity. Most have a writing surface (whiteboard or chalkboard). All group study spaces in O'Shaughnessy-Frey (St. Paul) and Keffer Library (Minneapolis) have a computer and white/chalk board. Ireland Library has a chalkboard and no computer.

Group Study Rooms and Studios are reserved for use by current students, faculty, and staff.

Whiteboard (or chalkboard)

Use only dry erase markers on whiteboards.

Markers may be checked out from the circulation desk on the first floor of O'Shaughnessy-Frey in St. Paul or the main desk in Keffer Library in Minneapolis.

Computer

All group study rooms in O’Shaughnessy-Frey (St. Paul) and Keffer (Minneapolis) have a computer with standard Microsoft Office software installed (Word, Excel, etc.).

Do not turn off the computer or disconnect the cables

As a courtesy to others using the space after you, please do not power down the computer or disconnect cables from the computer. The computers are used throughout the day, are low powered and utilize power saving modes when not in use.

Also, please do not turn off the screens.
