Using Library Resources at UST and SCU

Welcome, Social Work Students!!

We're Here to Help!

Graduate Students have access to St Kate's AND St Thomas's library and librarians.

  • Library links and resources for SCU are available at:  http://library.stkate.edu/
  • MSW and DSW students can access resources at both libraries, using either your UST account or your SCU account.
  • Undergraduate Social Work students have online access only to the resources available at their home institution (UST).  However, you can access the SCU resources if you visit their library.

Other details of note:

  • Your ID card will allow you to check out books at both libraries. You do not need separate ID card for St. Kate's.
  • UST Username and Password: will allow you access to email and UST libraries resources. (For support contact the TechDesk:  651-962-6230 or irthelp@stthomas.edu)
  • Research Assistance:  Librarians are available by phone (651-962-5001) or on a drop-in or appointment basis.
    • Merrie Davidson at UST (Contact info is available on this page to the right.) At SCU, the Social Work Librarian is Sue Gray at SCU sagray@stkate.edu or (651-690-7898.
