The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.

This association provides a forum for policy dialogue on education in Africa; a network of policy-makers, practitioners and researchers;and a partnership between ministries of education and development agencies (internal and external).

This organization is an independent, international cooperative of national research institutions and governmental research agencies. IEA aims to: 1) Provide international benchmarks that may assist policy-makers in identifying the comparative strength and weaknesses of their educational systems; 2) Provide high-quality data that will increase policy-makers’ understanding of key school- and non-school-based factors that influence teaching and learning; 3)Provide high-quality data which will serve as a resource for identifying areas of concern and action, and for preparing and evaluating educational reforms; 4) Develop and improve educational systems’ capacity to engage in national strategies for educational monitoring and improvement.

An ongoing study by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement that compares the United States with other countries in the fields of math and scienc education.

The focus of this report is on the performance of U.S. students relative to their peers in other countries on TIMSS (Trends in International Math and Science Study) and TIMSS Advanced 2015, and, for TIMSS results, on changes in achievement since 2011 and 1995

In this report from NAEP/TIMSS, researchers can compare student performance in math and science for each of the United States and 50 other countries. Results are presented by average scores and percentages of students performing at the four international benchmarks used in TIMSS.

The acronym stands for "Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study".

Coordinated by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement, this ongoing study compares the reading literacy of young students (4th grade or equivalent).

An ongoing project by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), this study measures 15-year old's achievement in the areas of reading, mathematics, and science literacy every three years.
