LibGuide Accessibility

This guide was created as part of the Summer 2024 Digital Accessibility Ambassador program, with it's aim to support librarians who create libguides for courses that support faculty and students at St. Thomas.

Alternative text and image descriptions enhance comprehension and serve as a primary method of conveying information.

  • Use meaningful alternative text (alt text) to describe them in a way that is relevant to their context within a page's content
  • To tag an ALT TEXT, select Image Properties window
  • Do not use an image IF the subject of the image is just text
