Searching from the Top Navigation

Across the top is the Global Menu, with tabs for Industries, Economies, Consumers, and Channels. There are sub-menus under each one.

  • Industries includes Appliances and Electonics, Drinks, Food and Nutrition, Health and Beauty, Home Products, Luxury and Fashion, Nicotine and Cannabis, Services, and B2B (which includes manufacturing and industrial.) There is an Industry and Topics menu under each one.

Search All Categories

Search All Categories lets you use the Search Tree feature of Passport to build a search based on industry (or other) categories and regions. It can be confusing to use.

Search All CategoriesUsing the search tree involves:

  • Choosing a category (for example, Apparel and Footwear.) You can be more specific within that sector (example: Sportswear.)
  • You then choose one or more geographies (world region or countries.)
  • You can then run your search, and choose between statistics and analysis.

Search Tips

  • To return to the Home page, click the Passport logo in top left corner at any time on any page.
  • Each selection, such as an individual industry or consumer category, has its own page, with search options specific for that particular selection.
  • There are subcategories within categories (in Industries, there are Sectors and Industries.) For example, Sportswear is a category under the Apparel and Footwear industry, which is part of the Luxury and Fashion sector.
  • For visual results, look for Datagraphics options.
