Family Advocate, the quarterly news-and-feature membership magazine of the Section of Family Law, addresses current family law topics and provides useful how-to articles in every issue. For more than 20 years, mental health professionals, judges, family lawyers, and their clients have turned to Family Advocate for practical information and advice on handling increasingly complex cases.

Journal of Interpersonal Violence (JIV), published 24 times a year, is devoted to the study and treatment of victims and perpetrators of interpersonal violence, addressing the causes, effects, treatment, and prevention of all types of violence. It provides a forum of discussion for the concerns and activities of professionals and researchers working in domestic violence, child sexual abuse, rape and sexual assault, physical child abuse, and other violent crime.

The Journal of Juvenile Law and Policy is a biannual publication of the UC Davis School of Law that addresses the unique concerns of children in the American legal system. Initially a product of the creativity and activism of a small group of King Hall students, called the Advocates for the Rights of Children (ARC), the Journal has evolved into a vigorous organization committed to providing practical and timely information about current juvenile, family, and educational law issues. The goal of the Journal is to provide a forum for discussion and to encourage community awareness and involvement in issues that affect children.

In collaboration with CCR, Whittier law students publish one of the few law journals devoted to child and family advocacy. This student-run scholarly publication has a broad focus and incorporates articles on abuse, neglect, delinquency, education, welfare, child custody, child support, and other topics related to children and families in the legal system. The journal welcomes the submission of articles from professionals and law students.
