Neuroscience 203: Tests & Measures

Many tests and surveys are included in the original article that developed or used the test. These are non-commercial tests and can be used in your assignment.

PsycInfo will include the names of all tests used in the research and will indicate that a test us included in the article with the term "appended" next to the test.

1. Search for the construct (e.g fatigue) in the regular boxes at the top of the page.
2. Type in appended in the tests & measurements box in the center of the page

When you get the list of results...

1. Click on Abstract/Details under any of the citations

1. Scroll down to the Tests and Measure section
2. Tests that are included in the article will have the word "appended" next to the name
   1. Not all tests will be included in the article
   2. Find a test that seems to include your construct

1. Find the article
2. The test is usually included in the appendix, but you might have to look in the article (in the Methods section, for example) to find the questions used in the article.
