State statutes can be found in Westlaw and Lexis. Minnesota Statutes Annotated are on the third floor of the library at KFM5430 1946 .A43. Use the annotated statutes to find the statutory text as well as extensive research aids.
Case Law
Use Westlaw to find case law on contracts. The most effective search method is to use West's topic and key number system. From Westlaw Classic, click on the Key Numbers link at the very top of the page. Then drill down through the Key Numbers outline. Open the contracts link and drill down until you find relevant key numbers. Check the relevant key numbers and click on "Search Selected" at the bottom of the screen. Fill in the Custom Digest screen that comes up and click on "Search" to get cases that fit your specifications.
