Administrative Agency Decisions
  
An agency decision may be obtained directly from the agency
issuing the decision, the Office of Administrative Hearings,
or from the Minnesota State Legislative Reference Library. 

The Office of Administrative Hearings was created
in 1975 to conduct contested cases and rulemaking
proceedings in matters governed by the
Administrative Procedures Act.

Administrative Law Courts

The Minnesota Tax Court is a specialized,
executive branch court specifically established
by the Minnesota Legislature to hear only tax
related cases.  The Minnesota Supreme Court
hears appeals from the Tax Court. 
 
1991 - present
 
The Minnesota Worker’s Compensation Court of
Appeals is a specialized, executive branch court
specifically established by the Minnesota Legislature
to review workers' compensation cases decided by
compensation judges at the Office of Administrative
Hearings and certain cases decided by the Workers'
Compensation Division at the Department of Labor
and Industry.  The Minnesota Supreme Court
hears appeals from this court.
