For the past 30 years, Public Agenda has been providing unbiased research that bridges the gap between American leaders and what the public really thinks about issues ranging from education to foreign policy to immigration to religion and civility in American life. The Alliance for Excellent Education is a national policy and advocacy organization that works to improve national and federal policy so that all students can achieve at high academic levels and graduate from high school ready for success in college, work, and citizenship in the twenty-first century. Sort of a companion site to the What Works Clearinghouse, Doing What Works provides an online library of resources that may help teachers, schools, districts, states and technical assistance providers implement research-based instructional practice; and examples of possible ways educators might apply those research findings.

Based at John Hopkins University, this center provides resources on evidence-based practice for school reform models, especially on schools serving students from at-risk backgrounds (impoverished communities) and diverse learners (ESL and students with disabilities).
