The Community Justice Project offers an opportunity for students to integrate the University’s mission into their Clinic experience as they work for justice and reconciliation. This guide presents resources and information for guided research into topics

Overview

Welcome to the University of St. Thomas Law Library guide for the Community Justice Project.

This guide serves as a starting point for researchers and students interested in the CJP Clinic and Civil Rights Law. Please use the tabs directly above this box to explore a range of resources available in the Library and on the web.

Research Guides

Librarians across the world use Research Guides like this one to help students focus their research and collect in one place resources that may be useful to a specific area.  Librarians use them to create attractive multimedia content, share knowledge and information, and promote library resources to their communities and beyond.  Searching for Research Guides can be an efficient starting point for any research, and can be thought of as a worldwide braintrust.

To find a relevant Research Guide:

Search Google for Subject Matter + Libguide.

For instance, if looking for a Research Guide on Bail Reform, I would search:

Bail Reform Libguide

Once you have found a guide (or guides) that contain relevant resources, the UST Law Library can help you gain access to those resources through our own library.  For books/articles use librarysearch.stthomas.edu to search our own holdings, and make Inter Library Loan requests where needed.  Have questions?  Come ask us!
