    Poetry on the Patio

Welcome to the Poetry on the Patio guide!

Poetry on the Patio is a noon-hour event that we have held each year since 1999 in celebration of National Poetry Month.  Various members of the St. Thomas community from all walks of life  - staff, administrators, students, faculty - have been invited to read a poem or two that they love.  This has been a very popular event for all.  It has provided a chance to share a love of poetry with friends and co-workers, and learn a little more about the people who work alongside us day to day.

As you make your way through the yearly events by choosing the purple tabs at the top of the page, you'll find a complete video of the poetry reading and the program listing readers, poems read, and authors.   If you were a reader and find that information about your poem is missing, please contact us to let us know because this site is being continually updated and enhanced and we would like it to be as complete and accurate as possible.

Thank you for visiting and we hope you will enjoy Poetry on the Patio.
