Banking Law: Getting Started

Getting Started

Banking Law is a heavily regulated industry that is currently in a state of flux as a result of the financial crisis of 2008. Banks are subject to overlapping regulatory authority by agencies at both federal and state levels. This research guide compiles resources on banking law, and more specifically, resources that focus on issues relating to the financial crisis.

The guide is designed for students of the St. Thomas Law School. It is intended to (1) provide a starting point for research on banking law and (2) explain where to find additional materials of interest.
